An Important Lesson in Never Giving Up!

Tuesday, August 13, 2013

And not with the frog picture, though it gives a lesson too, LOL!

It comes from a cartoon series I saw some years ago called Monster Rancher:

There was this one episode I remember that stands out among all of them. It was called The Mocchi Cannon:

It was about the smallest one of the team, named Mocchi.

He was ridiculed for being the smallest and weakest of the team, who hadn't become wiser like the rest of them, but looks are deceiving. And he is about to find out.

He and the team face another formidable foe, the one named Gali.

One of a group called the Big Bad Four.

He attacks the group and saps them of their energy.

But Mocchi somehow escapes that fate.

He finds himself alone against seemingly impossible odds.

But in spite of that, he never gives up.

He keeps trying even when it seems hopeless, and so encourages the rest of them.

And so in the end, saves the day, defeating Gali with a new weapon called the Mocchi Cannon, where he charges himself with energy and releases it in a dramatic way.

Where is the lesson for us Sparkers?

The journey to health and weight loss sometimes looks hopeless.

But if we don't give up, despite any setbacks, we WILL succeed.

I know I will never give up!

And I have little Mocchi to thank!
