Tuesday - Surprise, mowing again...

Tuesday, August 13, 2013

I started about 7:30 and finished 4 hours later. My neighbor as usual ran out to the field with a soft drink. I stopped the tractor and visited with him. He is actually thinking about getting another dog. He had DH take his sick old dog to the vet to have him put down one month and his wife died two months later. I think a dog would keep him company. He is really missing his wife who was an invalid the last 5 years of her life.

Also I have come up with a plan for more organization for the extra activities that will be coming up as soon as the new fellowship is ready for use. We are having more children and with more children and a wide age range, we need more workers and formal organization. Well, I've presented my plan to the pastor and two other interested parties and ask them to pray about it. So... I'll wait.

Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24

God bless with the patience to wait on Him as He is faithful and He will DO IT.

I hope your neighbor seriously considers a pet. I know my dog Tink fills a void in my life. She frustrates the crapola out o me at times, but she is always here for me!

I cross stitched that part of the verse a long time ago. "He is faithful, and He will do it!" I love that!

Your neighbor is so kind bringing you a drink! I hope he finds a great dog. He surely needs the company!

And here I complained when it took me 2 hours to push mow the lawn!

Sounds like a solid way to go about preparation for the children's program at church. What is your "job?"

I think i could mow for 4 hours if I had a good book to listen to. Fortunately, I did not mow for 4 hours but I did spend 4 hours on my jigsaw puzzle. Hope all goes well with the plans you presented.
