People come in and out of our lives, but bad habits seem to have really deep roots and stick around forever.
I've been holding my own (maintenance weight) for several months but here lately I've slipped up a couple pounds over my 'tolerance' level.
So, I've been 'back on the Spark wagon' tracking my food and fitness again, and I am utterly amazed at myself at how badly I've slipped away from all those good habits I thought I'd formed. Those good habits helped me not only to drop the pounds but keep them off.
I haven't been over eating or pigging out on bad things . . . I just haven't been measuring and tracking. And what a difference it's made!
These couple of pounds over just don't want to leave!!!!!
I remember one of the SparkCoach sessions where Coach Becky played a game of 'eyeballing' certain measurements of food . . . and then measuring it to see how closely it measured up to what it should be.
So, I'm getting real with myself here. I'm not beating myself up . . . I'm just not gonna give up.
Get back to what I know works. . . . and re-establish those good habits.
