I have been thinking alot about what it means to be "Out of Shape" and what does it mean to be "in shape". This is actually a common question in counseling. Savannah, what does it mean to you? Hmm, "in shape" to me means being able to walk or run 3 miles no problem, to have endless bounds of energy, to crave fruit, to bound up stairs no issue, to race 5Ks...
Now, that it is defined, how do I plan on getting there?
In August, I am thinking it's time to get tons of walking in. My calves and hips have been sore the day after a 3 mile walk. Also, I want to try to work out at least four times a week. I just need to find a way to make it happen... one way or another!
