    it is a shame that the art of letter writing, (notes, thank you cards etc) and speaking the proper English grammar as well as punctuation is GONE. so is articulating properly.
when the VALLEY GIRL UPSPEAK came into being i thought i would loose my mind. i still hear professionals (lawyers, teachers) use this extremely annoying syntax and the raised staccato pitch at the end is like a knife through my head. UGH!!!
so it is with much fanfare i thank you for bringing this to the fore.
by the way - i don't capitalize only to save time and my arthritic fingers/joints.
