Out of Shape

I am really starting to face reality. Today I walked three miles and my calf and hip muscles were tired when I got back. A year ago, it would have been easy to walk three miles. Now, it's hard. emoticon Guess I am not quite ready to train for a half marathon. No sense hurting my body. If I can't walk three miles easily, how in the world am I going to emoticon 13.1 miles?!! Honestly, I am pretty disappointed in myself that I am out of shape.

Goals for August (better late than sorry):
-Strength train 3x/week
-Walk 3x/week
-Track food 3x week

Update on the clothes:
I took all my clothes that I did not like wearing when I was 160 out of my closet and boxed them up. Honestly, I dont think I will miss them. I didn't like them before, I am not going to magically like them. The other clothes are staying in the clothes for now. Eventually, I will probably box up clothes to try on every month or even next summer!

    I know what you are going through. I am struggling with getting back into the routine and trying to not cheat on my workouts. It is not going well, but today is another day to try.

    You'll regain your conditioning much faster than the first time. Don't be discouraged...you are on your way again. emoticon
