Know what is harder than getting started? Re-starting!! OMG, I didnít have anywhere near this much trouble getting on track when I first joined Spark.
I have to be honest, I have not been ďwalking the walkĒ that last month or so. Iíve been eating whatever I felt like. I have been spending time playing video games instead of getting my exercise done. I have rediscovered my evening date with the ďcork screwĒ. I can blame a list of circumstances longer than my arm for all the horrible choices Iíve been making.
But when push comes to shove Ė it has been my choice. I have actively CHOSEN to indulge in my bad habits. These are the habits that lead me towards 200lbs of porky yorkie!! I have promised myself I would never go back there. Iím not going to break that promise.
So in the last few days, Iíve been walking again. Actually will be leave for a 3 mile walk in a few minutes. And I cleaned the junk off my elliptical. Cardio is back.
I tracked ALL of my food today for the first time in a month! Every bite!! Iím under calorie at this point and Iím going to try to stay in range.
Iím not organized or prepared like I was in the beginning. But I have one thing that the Kitty back then didnít have. I am absolutely CERTAIN I can do this. After the Warrior Dash this weekend, Iíll get a plan back in place. Until then, I know what I need to do. Iíve still got my starts and Iím going to earn them daily.
