Welcome to day #1, or in all actuality more like day #785, of my journey to get healthy. There have so many things holding me back from getting healthy. Fear. Depression. Laziness. Insecurity. Comfort. But I am finally done with living this way and I am determined to do something about it. So, today I created a health journal and binder. I am hoping that this will help me stay on track.
In my binder I created a rewards list for when I reach certain weight loss goals.
~My Weight Loss Rewards~
25 = New Purse & Wallet
50 = Mani & Pedi (my first ever!)
75 = I want to get the following quote tattooed near my collar bone.
100 = New Cruiser Bicycle with basket
125 = Paris Quote Tattoo on my Foot
This is the quote I want and in place of the "a" in Paris there will be an Eiffel tower.
150 = New Pair of High Heels
175 = Spa & Massage Day
200 = This quote Tattoo on my Arm
225 = Garter Tattoo on my Leg
Goal Weight = Trip to California or Las Vegas
My healthy journal includes two collages I competed in the past, a paper with adjectives that describe the person I want to be, weight loss rewards, a weight loss progress chart with stickers, my weight loss chart, my measurements, my blogs with reasons to lose weight, 30 things to do before I turn 30, loose leaf paper for a daily health journal, and my bucket list.
