Monday, August 12, 2013

Yes I am laid up with a swollen ankle so I have to put things on hold for a week at least.

Not fun at all for sure.

Hang in there Posey and take care of the ankle.

I like the suggestion about chair exercises. emoticon

I sprained my ankle and chipped the bone which qualifies as a broken bone. The sprain hurt worse and for longer than the chipped bone. Take care of it and follow your physician's advice.

A little lighter calorie wise and I agree with the above about using some of the chair videos available right her on SP.

I like to do the chair exercises even though my feet are o.k. I hope you get better soon.

Ice it several times a day for 20 minutes and keep it elevated. We only think about our ankles if they are swollen or injured, but they are an important part of our anatomy. Hope you are back on your feet soon.

Sorry to read about your ankle. I have worked through some injuries over the past three years as well and it's no fun at all. All you can do is pay closer attention to you nutritional intake (keep them down) so that the pounds don't go up. I know, easy for me to say but one never knows what the other's going through. I know you'll bounce back and get right back on track.
