I'm thinking to myself, This is what I get for trying to be healthy but I know I shouldn't be so negative. Was feeling great at the beginning of my run yesterday but by the second to third interval, my ankle was hurting. Not super severe. Felt like my muscles were tight. Tried interval 4 and had to stop halfway. Was so bummed. Spent the rest of the day on the couch with ice on my foot and elevated. This morning got up and I felt better but the longer I walked on it, I could tell the pain was there. Went to a clinic. They took xrays and they didn't see anything. Put an ace bandage on and gave me crutches. Going to be on those for a few days and then an ankle brace for at least a week but if I want to run again, I will most likely need the brace. So sounds like a week or two of rest as long as nothing else happens.

    Sorry to hear you are in pain! But don't consider it a fail....just a delay. Rest it as much as you can for the next couple of weeks and then try again....don't give up! When you are able to try it again, just take it easy and listen to your body!
