Happy Monday!

Really? Did I just say "happy" Monday?! Have I completely lost my mind? lol - nope. Just had a great weekend and am preparing for a great week.

I had been doing really good tracking my food last Wed/Thurs/Fri, but then the weekend came and I wasn't preparing my own food AND I wasn't actually home much. Not to mention that I went to Six Flags twice and ate a total of 3 meals there. The scale showed a slight increase this morning, but I'm sure that getting back on track today with both eating & exercise will put me in a good place for my Wednesday weigh-in.

Even though I ate out almost all weekend, I was still mindful of what I ate. Just so I can be accountable (even though I didn't track it) here's what I had:

Saturday - Breakfast - healthy - made it at home
Saturday - Lunch - Chick-fil-a - 8 count nugget & waffle fries
Saturday - Dinner - Six Flags - pulled pork nachos with chips, cheese, meat, & sour cream - I mainly ate just the meat/cheese and a few of the chips.

Sunday - Breakfast - healthy - made it at home
Sunday - Lunch - McDonalds - 2 leftover chicken nuggets (my nieces didn't eat them)
Sunday - Lunch - Part 2 - Six Flags -Cheeseburger and some waffle fries (my youngest niece snagged most of my fries before I even had a chance).

Sunday - Dinner - Six Flags - large slice of cheese pizza. I did NOT eat the leftover cheese breadsticks that my nieces didn't eat. This in itself is an accomplishment, usually I finish everything in site!

Anyway, I'm back on track with my eating today. I brought a healthy breakfast, lunch, & snacks. Not sure what dinner holds for tonight, but I know I'll have enough calories left for it.

I know a lot of people have mixed feelings about what SP did to the food/exercise/calorie trackers a few weeks back. (Adjusting your calorie range throughout the day based on your activity) I have the fitbit and love that feature. I set it up to where I eat 750 calories less than what I'm burning. It constantly adjusts throughout the day based on what I'm doing. But it's always 750 less than the max number. This has really helped me not feel like I was/am starving myself.

Enough ramblings for a Monday. I hope everyone has a great start to the week!

    You may have eaten some extra calories at Six Flags, but you probably burned them off with all the activity you had in the park. I'll bet you had a really good time with your nieces.

That's a smart idea, setting your Fitbit for 750 calories less than the top limit. I have the Zip and I don't think I can set it for calories. I love it for counting steps and syncing with my computer.

    Happy Monday back atcha! I love my fitbit too. I don't use it much to determine how much I should eat, but I DO find it really motivated as far as exercise. Good job this weekend and have an awesome start to the week!
