The past few months have been so busy. Bought a new home, got my current home ready to show for selling just too many times (sure wish it would sell), and cleaning up the new house -- all have been very physical activities.
The new house was a bit of a mess. Some older folks who had limited mobility owned it, and could not maintain the yard or keep the nooks and crannnies clean. So I have been on scrub duty, vacuuming and mopping my heart out, cleaning windows, etc. Oh, and helping to move a few bits of furniture and boxes. Then was the outside -- WAY overgrown. Pruning, cutting, laying 50 bags of mulch (so far, much more to go)...
Back at the other house, I have run my vacuum to death, my gardening shears are about worn out, and it seems every dusting cloth is always being washed as I keep that house spic and span for that potential buyer to walk through.
Lesson: if you move your household, you better be willing to move your body to make it work!
