spread the word... we are all stardust!

Sunday, August 11, 2013

it's true.

just imagine. when a super-sized star explodes, that's called a 'supernova'. then all kinds of matter, like iron, carbon, oxygen... go flying through space.
next step is, all the dust and bits get compressed into larger pieces that become a new star and its planets.
our bodies are made of exactly that.

and that is your physics lesson of the day. thank you for listening.

Sounds like a Joni Mitchell song ... we are stardust, we are golden, and we've got to get ourselves back to the garden. Thanks for the science and music lesson.
