just imagine. when a super-sized star explodes, that's called a 'supernova'. then all kinds of matter, like iron, carbon, oxygen... go flying through space.
next step is, all the dust and bits get compressed into larger pieces that become a new star and its planets.
our bodies are made of exactly that.
