Day 60 - no results

Yesterday was the 60th day of my new fit life - this means 60 days of workout. 60 days of getting up early and starting the day with a Jillian Michaels DVD (and occasionally something else: kayaking, biking, walking etc.). Overall it were ca. 70 days because I don't count the rest days - in this month there were maybe 4 rest rest days.

For over a month now my dinner is always a salad. It is a big bowl of salad but nontheless a salad.

In the morning I have mostly fruits or cereals - for the future I will cut cereals fully.

And for lunch I'm ordering always something from a place called "Healtch Kitchen", small portions, no sugar, very little carbohydrates.

I thought that all this was pretty good or at least not bad.

Well, think again.

This is day 61 and I haven't lost anything since day 30. Nothing. I have the same weight, the same measurements, same body fat %. (there were 2 days a week ago when I was 2 pounds lighter but it is gone now)

I don't want to quit because I FEEL better and I FEEL like looking better. But it would be great to havy ANY hard evidence for my work.

I don't know what to do. Should I eat nothing at all and that would finally help? Or should I workout 2 hours a day and maybe that would help? Or should I forget my dreams about not looking fat?

PS: I just realized that I have put on 3,5 lbs of muscle... I guess I do something right after all... :)

    Hello! I can't believe I found this blog as I too have the same issue - it's been a frustrating journey the past year. However, there's hope!! I think I may have damaged my metabolism by eating too little (below my BMR) for too long. I found this website:

    Hey don't give up. I have same problem and not sure what to do but here is what I'm trying. I tracked food - knows it seems like I've been doing that forever. Now I am tracking my fitness. I know I lost weight and inches when no exercise just stayed in middle range of calories allowed. So I added exercise back in ate less and gained!!!. So this week I'm going to eat more and continue same exercise and see what happens. I think that it is - can't explain but it has to be a balance of in and out and everyone is different. ( though friends who work out tell me not eating enough so body is holding onto weight - seems no sense but hey willing to try. So my suggestions - don't give but keep track and try eating more - stay in range but if exercise you need to take in more calories. I think thee is a sight that will let you know how much to eat when you exercise. Try it can't hurt
