We garage saled in Nacogdoches while DH rode bikes with the team. After printing up the bulletin I took it to church and put the flower arrangement on the altar.
And the skies opened as if it was in the days of Noah.
Not as earth ending as all this but as if at the very creation.
It was absolutely great. I ran around putting plants out it in and DH was setting up more rain barrels. It really makes me think that eventually we will be able to harvest enough water to run our household - someday - and get off the local water system from which we get warnings of the contents of the water monthly.
17 When the poor and needy seek water,
and there is none,
and their tongue is parched with thirst,
I the Lord will answer them;
I the God of Israel will not forsake them.
18 I will open rivers on the bare heights,
and fountains in the midst of the valleys.
I will make the wilderness a pool of water,
and the dry land springs of water.
God bless us with well of water springing up into everlasting life. (John 4:38)
