I haven't been on SP in almost a month. It wasn't intentional, in fact until the last day or two I honestly had forgotten all about SP, and several other online communities I am part of.
my last blog was about being fired up, wanting to make holistic changes, evaluating what was healthy to my families lives. And... I spent weeks processing the fallout from the accident. My sweet Hannah had more injuries then I originally thought and as we began dealing with memory loss, some behavioral changes and extreme fear of being in the car/loud noises. It has taken its toll on our family.
What came from it is changes have to happen. We have begun having foster children leave the home and are down to just one little one left. He will be gone next week. I gave my notice at work and we are moving back to Oregon where we are closer to family. This was just a huge wakeup call for everybody. I look forward to living by the ocean, to have a gym available for the first time in two yeas (yahoo!!) and to the cooler temps, as well as having my family close together.
As far as fitness and goals, I haven't begun exercising again though that is primarily due to the sauna like weather here in the south (Another benefit of Oregon! Better weather!). I have lost the few pounds I gained plus one more so that is a 26 pound weight loss since I began! WooHoo!
I truly am sorry to the BL challenges, I am sure I left people wondering. In times of stress I tend to block the world out. We will be moving within two weeks and once we are settled I will be back in full force! Promise! Thank you for the notes, comments, cards that everybody has sent. I appreciate them all!
For those that have prayed for my sweet Hannah, I wanted to share a pic of her and her puppy. She is doing better... We have decided to homeschool this year to help with the adjustment and give her time to pull everything back together. She is a smart cookie though and will make it just fine!
