After weeks of not seeing that scale moving much, I am so pleased to see another loss. I've followed my doctor's advice and just been patient with my program. My eating and exercise has been consistent, so it was really just a matter of my brain staying on track! By continuing to do what I needed to do, and not giving up, I've had another good week.
One hour of exercise daily continues to be the goal and I happily look for the ways I can get that in each day. And I'm loving my weight program, which is easy to do in front of the tv and makes me feel those muscles working hours later. (which is to say they are sore!) When I put my mind on my exercise, I'm not thinking about my food, so it's falling into place nicely.
Am leaving for holidays next week to the beautiful East Coast, and I have planned my food and exercise there, as best as I can. We will be doing lots of walking and sightseeing, and the hotel has an exercise room. My plan is to hit the exercise room at least twice in the week, when everyone else is flaked out in the room.
I know that there will be things I want to eat there, but fortunately seafood will be plentiful and fresh. As long as I avoid the fried versions, I should be able to make good choices. And I am packing my protein powder and protein bars for breakfasts and airport snacks.
I'm in a positive state of mind heading into holidays, so my focus will be on the experiences rather than on food. Really looking forward to enjoying the week.
