Kitchen Reno Week 5-Finally some progress

Saturday, August 10, 2013

There is still a lot to do, and that is in addition to waiting for the arrival of replacement cabinets for the 3 that were wrong.

But it feels good to see something has actually been accomplished in the last 5 weeks.

And I am still succeeding in my little challenge: I have cooked every night at home in the laundry room. No eating out, no take out for 5 hard weeks. I feel like a pioneer!

I agree. Your kitchen is too pretty to get out pots and pans with all the ingredients to cook. When it's finished you need to eat out.

I love your gas stove!! Once you are able, it will be so nice to cook on that!!!! I can't believe you've not "caved" and gone out to eat. Good for you! You have emoticon willpower and conviction!

    Amazing accomplishment, Nell!

We had the same goal on our last vacation. We ate in EVERY meal. Of course we were in an RV, but the "vacation mode" always says we should go out.

The kitchen is coming right along. Not too much longer.
