I've had many good starts on SP that I've just let come to a sputtering stop. I'm trying something a bit different this time.
I'm using SparkPeople AND I'm using my BodyMedia arm band. These two tools finally work together (or I finally found out that they do!) and I'm able to use them both. Another tool I'm using is Fitocracy. It is a social media for people who are working out. Basically, I get points for every activity I log and I have constant contact with folks who are also being physically active.
I weighed myself last Saturday and again today (one day early, so sue me) and was very pleased to have lost 5 pounds. Granted it's the first week and most of that is "water weight" but it's still a good start. I will not allow my negativity or anyone else's diminish my positive results.
I will continue to work hard, start each day brand new, make wise choices, and push my limits. That is my promise this week.
This week's goals:
*Hit the gym 4 days
*Get my running interval from 1 minute to 1m45s
*Increase my time on the Elliptical from 7 minutes to 10 minutes
*Find a strength training routine
*Make it to bed by 9:30pm on work nights
*Cook healthier dinners for my family
