Subtle behavior change- yay!

My shift at work is almost over. Over the past few hours I've surfed the internet, read part of "The Spark," and got up and walked a tiny bit every once in a while.

It's 9:49 pm and I've already eaten dinner and stayed within my calorie range for the day. I've also just finished my 9th "glass" of water for the day.

Why am I so excited that I've eaten dinner before 10 o'clock at night? Because a few months ago I wouldn't have packed my dinner with me. Instead I would have packed several snacks and eaten throughout my shift, then eaten a large, unhealthy meal right before bed. It's not even 10pm yet but I am satisfied (not too full and not even remotely hungry) and feel like I have my entire evening before me. I've only been seriously back on Sparkpeople for less than a week and already I'm noticing subtle behavior changes- cool!

I'm going to my mother's house this weekend and will bring up my scale. I'm kind of excited to be able to weigh myself on a regular basis and really get involved in this fitness thing :)
