I leave for my vacation with my sister, brother in law, niece, and their two dogs on Saturday morning. We're going to the Outer Banks, renting a house and planning to do not a lot more than go to the beach. And eat, and drink.
I need to keep my priorities in perspective. I need to try and eat as healthfully as I can. We are going to cook quite a lot, which I think is good. I may not have access to my SP account, but I can take a journal and at least write down what goes into my mouth. I will have my FitBit and can go for walks.
I'm just a little nervous because I tend to lose my focus when I'm thrown out of my routine. I've been eating overnight oats for breakfast for like two weeks, for example! Saturday in particular may be tough. It's my travel day -- I'm flying from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia and then Philadelphia to Raleigh. Airport food is not my friend -- I lose control a little. All that fast food, so convenient and easy to carry!
I'm just going to have to try my best!
