This week has been RIDICULOUS! Most of the other receptionists are away this week so there are only 3 of us who are covering ALL the shifts. Yesterday I worked a 9 hour day, today I'm working an 11 hour day!! I won't be out of here until 10 pm :(
I am EXHAUSTED. Last night I meant to clean up the apartment but ended up collapsing in a chair and watching a movie. I was really upset when I noticed that because of my procrastinating, it was too dark to go on a walk (I don't live in an area that I feel safe walking in after dark). This is an atypical week, but it really threw me off. I need to work harder to have a plan, maybe even a schedule. Yesterday I spoke with my boyfriend about walking around Meijer with him after I get off work tonight in order to get my steps in. I think he thinks I'm joking, but it's an option (the other option being walking in place while watching tv).
I started this week out strong, but I've learned that this process isn't about resting on my laurels. If I really want to see change, I need to make the effort each and every day.
