"but i want it NOW!" do you remember veruca salt, from willy wonka and the chocolate factory? well, i am feeling like her right now. she wanted an ooma loompa, right away, she wanted the boat, she wanted one of the golden geese, that lay golden eggs for Easter! (do you have her song stuck in your head yet? lol!)
she didn't want to wait for ANYthing. but after the boat incident (very scary boat!)
she decided she didn't want it. and after wanting the geese that lay chocolate eggs
, we found out, she was a "bad egg"! HOPEFULLY, she and her father didn't get burned in the furnace! they DID have a 50/50 chance, since it is only lit every other day, so they had a fighting chance, right? (LOL!)
discipline... delaying instant gratification for something better later. actually, i have heard many quotes close to that one, but in the end, discipline, consistency is what is needed.
i sit here today (it is already 11:00am) writing this, i have been up since 8am
, and i don't want to work out!
i just want the work out fairy, to wave her magic wand, and "poof!", my work out is done!
. don't get me wrong, i LOVE to work out, but i am just not feeling it. and as the day progresses, it is only gonna get warmer.
. it happened yesterday, i put off my work out until late in the day, and it got SO hot and humid, it was very hard to work out.
. i had to quit sooner than i wanted, because i was so hot and sweaty and drained.
you THINK i would have learned from yesterday, and i would have already worked out, right? pffft, no! i have done so many things, i am avoiding working out! laundry

, heck, even right now i am stalling by, looking for cute little icons to add to this blog!
sometimes it is so hard to get going, i have noticed as i have become more... mature (i refuse to say older!) it takes me longer to get going. i like to relax a bit more, taking it slowly.

when i started this blog, i would be done by now, doh!
yes, i know all the little "tricks" , only say that i hafta do 10 minutes, and i already have everything set up, so i just hafta turn on the tv, and put in the dvd, and i am already dressed
, have one of my favorite work outs ready to go (billy blanks tae bo). i just gotta get up and do it.
i have lost pounds already this month, i am getting to be a lot more consistent, i know it takes time before i reach my goal, i just hafta keep it up, do what i need to do now, to get what i really want later...
okay, enough stalling, here i go, hope everyone else didn't have such a hard time getting their work out done!
i KNOW i will feel better after!
