Going through the hurdles

I went to the doctor yesterday regarding the episode I had the other day and he thinks its my gallbladder...so I go in tomorrow morning for a sono to confirm or deny it. If it shows nothing I'll need to do a hydroscan to test the function of my gallbladder and if there is any issues with either test I will go and have it removed. I am pretty much hoping that this is the case and I can just get it done and over with and soon because I start school stuff on the 15th and can't afford to miss these days so I need to get in and get it out as fast as possible if this is the problem. If it's not I will be going back to my surgeon right away to try and figure out why I"m having stomach aches and nausea like I have been. I'm barely able to eat at this point and I know that it is not good for me. But that is what is new for me health wise.
I went and picked up all my school books and school supplies yesterday and it all cost a whopping $1000.00. I'm so incredibly thankful that I am involved in a program that assists with these funds because if not, I think I'd cry. Nursing school is flat out expensive!! Picking out my scrubs was interesting because I know that I'm going to be losing weight really fast and I am not going to need them right away...Right now I am a 3X...sorta...so I got a 2X and a 1X in hopes that I will lose enough weight that they will fit when it comes time to actually needing to wear them. I'm sure I will considering that isn't until the end of the semester!!
It's raining out again...It has rained nearly every day now for over a week and the flood waters around here are insane. My friends and I were going for a drive to a neighboring town the other day and had to turn around because there was literally a river going over the road and we couldn't pass it. Many of the farmers fields now look like lakes. It is incredible how much rain we have got and I gotta say I'm not going to complain. We desperately needed the moisture!!
We went to the dog park lastnight and it was a soggy mess...I really thought it would be fun and don't get me wrong it was..however, I ended up with an extremely muddy dog and child. My dog has discovered that he really enjoys to play in the mud and water so every puddle he found (of which was pretty much the entire place) he ran through and rolled through. They were a mess but it was highly entertaining to watch.
Anywhoosers....I have lots and lots of reading to do for school next week so I guess I should get on it!
