Stretchy-stretch

Friday, May 04, 2007

No workout today. It's my one day off out of 7. I did do some stretching when I woke up this morning, and I noticed that my muscles were a bit sore. That makes me feel pretty good about the last three days of working out. If I'm not sore at all I tend to feel like maybe I didn't push myself hard enough.

I haven't weighed myself yet today. I have to wait until about 11:30. (That's usually when I do it.)

I've made a new goal to stretch every single day, whether it's a workout day or not. It makes me feel so good when I do it, I should make it a habit for sure. I always feel more flexible and graceful for the rest of the day when I do my stretching.

(I can't wait to hit the 160 mark! I'm going to keep plugging away at it. Soon I'll say goodbye to the 160's forever.)

I wish I could bring myself to giving myself a day off from exercise without feeling guilty! I couldn't make it to the gym yesterday and it haunted me until I fell asleep!

You are doing really great though! Keep up the good work! And I know what you mean about stretching.. it's relaxing!

Wow... very nice and positive blog! I love it! By the way stretching is one of the best things you can do for yourself! People don't realize it but as we age we loose elasticity..I hope i spelled that right...lol Making it more difficult to move around and way less flexable... well by stretching everyday we will prevent... loosing flexability... and maybe even gain some....

I want to invite you to read my last blog... Boosting your Metabolism... You will enjoy it...
