It has been 1 year today that I changed my life and had surgery. It has changed my life and keeps changing. I am so happy that I made the decision for myself to have RNY surgery it has been a life saver for me I am no longer Diabetic, I no longer have sleep apnea, I can walk without getting winded and huffing and puffing, I can now cross my legs sit in a chair comfortably with out feeling I am squeezing in the chair, I enjoy cloths shopping now, There is so many changes I can not think about all of them right now. I was wondering at this time a year ago while I was laying in my hospital bed where I would be today and I do have to say that I am very proud of myself where I am right now and it has been an amazing year for me and I wanted to share this moment with my spark friends and thank you for all your help in this past year for your helpful tips, encouraging words answering my many questions and feeling like I have somebody who knew what I was going threw it has been such a life changing experience that not many of my friends outside of Sparkpeople could understand they have been very supportive but did not know what I was going threw like my friends on this sight so I want to say think you

I so agree with you, said " I can now cross my legs sit in a chair comfortably..." Me too, when my heaviest weight I could not cross my leg at all and was very uncomfortable myself.
Nothing taste and feel better then what healthy feels!! I am so happy for you changed your life around. Way to go!! emoticon
