OK - I give... took a sick day today after a rough night that resulted in almost NO sleep. I had my first bottle of water while deciding to stay home. Went back to bed and again did not sleep very well.
Then when I finally gave in and tried to eat something to tame my rumbly tummy. Since it was about 2pm, I chose to splurge and eat the only thing that didn't turn my stomach at the thought of... a dessert - that I'd bought over a week ago and it's been staring at me from the fridge, awaiting a day with few enough calories to allow the indulgence. This was seeming to be that day. I figured something (even as bad as cheesecake brownie - at a reasonable 330 calories!!! - especially if it led to me getting an appetite where I would actually eat something nutritious.
TMI alert -
No matter what I ate or drank today, I pretty much cleared out everything - especially water. Within the time of getting up and stepping on the scale, just before this began in full force - and less than an hour later... the scale soon read 1.8 pounds LIGHTER than at first. Yup - empty. Time for a fresh start LOL
So, again - a rest day dictated by extreme fatigue and not feeling well. Yay... just once, I'd like to have a rest day where I could still get steps in by shopping, exploring or something - not sleeping on a sofa.
Still not sure I'm quite over it. Still unsure whether it's from the new BP medicine or perhaps a bug - or perhaps tainted 'organic salad mix' that I ate last night.
Hubby was sweet when he came home... offered to get me something. I didn't even have energy today to make a smoothie today, so opted for a large blueberry pomegranate from the health-food haven of Mickey D's... yeah, well... needed liquid, and those gotta count for something! & it is healthier than cheesecake brownies!
Still feel a bit feverish now... hopefully I'll pass out tonight, and feel better in the morning! Of course, I fully know the scale will be back up to normal once I get and keep some fluids in! But, it was interesting to see ;)
Hope everyone else is doing well and staying on track!
