to a convention, 5 days, 4 nights in the lap of luxury. Roof top pool, gym, Riverview room. Paying extra for a refrigerator for the week to store my snacks to supplement the good food I find out there. I've scoped out the walks-a short 2.25 mile across one bridge and back another. A longer 3.75, or do them both for a 6 mile walk. I probably won't have time to do both at the same time AND get in my pool workout, AND eat, AND shop, AND go to the gym, AND do the convention sessions. And driving East to the Atlantic for sunrise. Haven't seen the sunrise in years. The last time I tried, everything was socked in under fog. So little time. So much to do. I might need to pass on the sparkin for a few days. No offense friends!! A gal's got to do what a gal's got to do!!
And I'm not going to stress over the last 5 pounds that I thought would be gone by now when I scheduled the trip 3 months ago. I'm just going to keep on staying on the plan. In my new clothes! In my new bathing suit!
Have sunscreen, will venture out on that rooftop!! I wonder if it's one of those infinity pools. This trip could start a whole new set of visualizations of the next 5 pounds melting away in the rooftop pool, flowing down over the side of the building, into the river, and away into the ocean. What's a little more pollution?
