To continue my tough love rant (at myself) from yesterday..
5. Stop eating dairy!!
I have been vegetarian for about a year now, and although I have no plan on going vegan, dairy does NOT agree with me - on days where it doesn't cause an "emergeny situation", it leaves my bloated and exhausted - I liken it to a decent hangover, which I like to sometimes like to call a cheese or milk hangover
Why do I continue to eat it?? because its convenient.. well I have decided it is no longer convenient to be stuck at least 6kg from my goal year after year..
I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but if you do and, like me, you didn't really know who to ask, and are overwhelmed by information on the internet:
1. Unsweetened almond milk - if you like almonds, you will like this, soy milk is not for everyone (although flavoured or Soy milky brands are the best that I've found, but they are incredibly rich, almost like drinking cream - fine if that's what you are after) - I have yet to find an alternative that doesn't curdle, so nowadays I just drink coffee black
2. Coconut ice cream - as you can imagine, made with coconut cream - most paleo recipes are easy to make, and even dairy lovers think it is amazing
3. Cheese - I would take coconut or cashew cheese over soy cheese any day, you can also get coconut cream cheese
4. If you want to replace the milk in your cereal and still haven't found a milk alternative that works for you - try OJ, it's a little sweet treat to start your day
