Glad To Be Home!

Monday, August 05, 2013

Oh my God..I am finally home from Odessa Texas emoticon ..I went to my cousin wedding and I must say I have a lot to complain about! First off we was on the go from the time we got there..his parents keep everyone busy..we ate at two restaurants and the food was nasty..even at my cousin wedding the food there was nasty, I have never been to a wedding where there is no fruits or water(Really)..I don't think the people in Odessa Texas can cook..The hotel we stayed in(Hilton Garden Inn)..the rooms are so nice but no free also had a fitness room but guess who didn't get a chance to workout(ME)..the whole weekend I was beating myself up because I couldn't workout and I ate poorly(YES ME) emoticon ..My hubby told me to just relax and don't think about working was hard...I am use to getting my workout on..then it's a new month! Even though I was told by my family members that I was looking good..I still felt unhappy because I didn't workout..and I made it known Aunt goes we are so sorry but we love you..what love got to do with my workout! emoticon

Well Lord I am home and I Thank You Lord...Now I am going to get my workout on and get this nasty food out of my system emoticon emoticon emoticon

Hi my Sparkfriends emoticon boy did I miss you guys and logging in every day to Sparkpeople emoticon ..Sorry to go on and on about working out but I feel FAT! emoticon

My mom just left Texas for her niece's wedding and it sucked too! I am not a fan of Texas but do know great people from there....shocked the food was bad yet don't sweat it; just get up in the morning and let it rip!

Well, the best laid plans..... I too have a relative situation where I can't work out. My sister-in-law is coming to stay at our house and I think it would be kind of rude to ditch everyone for the gym. I have to console myself that this is a few days out of the year and I can exercise all the rest of the time.

I have always heard about Texas food - big steaks, bbqs and all that. Nothing worse than eating bad food that is also fattening. I find in smaller unsophisticated places it is difficult to eat out and eat healthy. Sorry, all this happened to you but most of the time you are right on track. So just get back into it and forgive yourself if you gained a few pounds. You'll get them off and get back in the groove! You've got this girl! emoticon emoticon

I'm leaving for Texas on Friday hope I have a better experience. Sorry yours wasn't on target and yes your hubby was right relax. Sometimes life interrupts "our plans" but you made it through. You're back to normalcy and you can get the yuckieness out and refine yourself once again. I'm hoping you didn't do much damage but I'm sure you were looking amazing. You're the 2nd person this week that went to a wedding and the food was horrible with nothing to drink. Wow...Welcome back...

    Dear Anggel,
Glad you're back from Texas and SO SORRY about the food!! Next time you go, let me know and I'll make sure you get to the right places and for the right food!! In the meantime, you've beaten yourself up enough now (maybe THAT was your workout!!), so get to the good stuff: eating right and working out!

Take good care, amiga! You will do this!!
    all the best!, sincerely,
