Yay! A working bike!

Monday, August 05, 2013

Well, Brian finally got around to tightening my bike handles up. I'm excited! Not only will this help my knee, I will get lots of exercise as well. I plan to go for a 30-40 minutes bike ride tomorrow and I am also planning to ride as least 10 minutes every day from now on (hopefully time will permit this when I finally get a job). Speaking of that, I finally (almost) have my foot in the door with the job placement firm. I called them today and they are just waiting on my vocational rehabilitation counselor to give them the go-ahead for me to receive services. I am confident that I will have help looking for a new job sometime this week. I'll keep you posted on my progress. On an AWESOME note: We are babysitting another dog. She is a four pound chihuahua and absolutely gorgeous! She is very sweet as well and I have already fallen in love. I love you Reese's Peanut Butter Cup and Baby Girl!

I love biking! Such a fun way to get in a great workout. Glad your bike is back up and running... or riding! LOL!

I love to bike! It causes less stress on my knees when they need a break from walking/running! For us to ride, we have to load up the bikes & ride a paved trail somewhere. So I don't go as often as I'd like. Too many times have I been almost hit because drivers don't like to share the road! So annoying!

I can't wait to hear about your awesome bike ride! Make sure to share with us in the chat room! emoticon

Have a great day! emoticon

WONDERFUL news about the bike. I enjoy biking as well but sadly haven't had enough time to do it yet. There's nothing like *going places* :) Can't wait to hear about your mileage :)

Chihuahas are characters! I grew up with one named "Zip." :) I have two black cats now and eventually after we're married and move into a house, my fiance wants to get two puppies....that grow into Great Danes! emoticon emoticon

Keep up the great work!
