Took a little hiatus from Spark for a few weeks. Not really on purpose, just trying to be more intuitive. Don't get me wrong I LOVE spark and all it's tools, sometimes I feel like I rely a little too much on them. Im happy to report that I have not gained any weight since I stopped. I may not have lost any either, but, atleast I know I can maintain without logging in everyday... Anyway, I am ready to start kicking some butt. I'm going camping at the lake in a few weeks, my birthday is Sept 11th, and then the month after is Halloween! So these are some motivators for me. I'm gonna start doing my squats and lunges regularly again. I've kept up with them enough that I won't have to go through that first week of wanting to die everytime I move my legs atleast. I noticed a difference in my body when I was really focusing on doing them though. I also went on a 1.5 mile run/walk this morning. I haven't attempted to run in over a year and I definitely felt it. I am going to have to go slowly to build up my stamina. I felt like my chest was on fire and my head was aching! I ended up maybe running a 1/4 of a mile and walking most of the rest of the way. It also didn't help that I went a little to late in the morning. Started to get hot. Tomorrow I'm gonna go earliar. That will probably help a lot. Foodwise I have been okay. I have been indulging in some sweets lately. I notice that I'm getting really good at portioning out food though. Stopping and not just mindlessly stuffing my face. Being able to say no to things I really don't need....
Anyway, I hope everyone else has been doing good on their journeys as well... We can do this!!!!
