I am three days into trying to figure out this BodyMedia FIT Armband, and we need counseling.
Ha... maybe it's the coffee/caffeine withdrawal... but we are just not clicking (yet). I am not giving up, but here is what I have learned this weekend.
I don't like the Armband on my arm. It bugs me. I itch it, I rub it, I just am bothered by it. I spent the last three days adjusting the tightness and the location, and maybe just maybe I can live with it right now.
I lost the monitor - on day 2! That was fast, and really irritated me. But I was not a fan of the monitor, every time I tried to check something it would not be 'syncd, and then I'd spend the next 5 minutes pushing buttons. I had it clipped to my waist band on Saturday for at least 1/2 the day, when I got home it was missing. sigh. I don't think I am going to worry about replacing it. I'll just plug into my computer when I get home in the evening or something.
I also keep forgetting to put it on - I only averaged 7.5 hours of active wearing time each day! Sigh. So my plan is to just keep it on all day, and then leave it off for showering and sync'ing.
I did take it off for exercising, I didn't want it to get icky, but now I don't have a record of that activity. So no more taking off for exercise. I think I'll look for another band so I can wash one and wear one.
Hopefully we can get along the rest of this week.
So far August has been a resounding success, I am down 4lbs! Woot woot. So I am doing something right.
Diet was okay over the weekend, within allowances because I kept skipping meals to compensate. But then that's kinda how I am on weekends.
I started off this week at the gym!! I was only a 1/2 hour late - but I made it. I did the treadmill in my "Zaggot Hot Pants & Tank" for 1/2 hour. More on those later.
I stopped at the grocery on my way into work and picked up my greek yogurt, apples, peanut butter, and 2 lunches. That will help keep the week on track.
Tomorrow is a 2-3mi run day!
