Post-Op Update

Monday, August 05, 2013

Good morning, spark friends.

Sorry for being MIA for so long. I had the baby via c-section on July 10th. He is a healthy and beautiful baby boy.

I'm slowly recovering from the surgery. I slept in my bed for the first time, last night; and the swelling in my feet has started to really subside.

I am feeling a little better each day. In three weeks, I should be given the green light for driving, starting an exercise routine, and having other changes -- that are due to increased abdominal strength and mobility.

In the meantime, I'm eating healthy; drinking my fluids; bonding with my baby; and adjusting to the new daily rhythm.

I hope everyone is well.

I had totally forgotten you were expecting. I am glad you and baby are well...do take care and enjoy that little bundle...they are trying at times, but the love they bring is all worth it...my little one is cutting his eye and stomach teeth all at the same time...UHG!!! He has been a little brat and not been feeling well either. Keep me posted.

Glad to hear you are feeling better and your life is returning to normal - although now that you have a new baby, you will need to redefine normal. Congratulations on a healthy birth and hope you back to physically normal soon.
