Wow and double Wow! I made it one full week, 7 days, with NO junk food and NO sweets!
It was easier than I thought it would be, I surprised myself. I never felt tempted the entire week. I think the key was simply saying No junk food. That took all the decision making out of it. When we had burgers or dogs for dinner instead of checking my calories to see how many chips I could have I had none. Instead I made a veg to go with it. It was a no brainer. I needed a side dish and chose veggies without thinking. Fantastic! By saying junk food was not permitted I automatically increased my veg intake. Im loving that!
I also did better with the snacking. Every time I thought about having a snack I asked myself why I wanted one. Was I hungry, tired, bored, or was I eating out of habit. It was mostly out of habit. Almost every time I was not hungry, so I did not have a snack. I noticed I wanted a snack about the same time each day and wasnt really hungry. When I did snack I chose healthy yogurt, fruit.
L baked oatmeal
D turkey dog/roll/baked beans
EX Spark cardio (youtube or DVD), elliptical/gazelle, wii tennis
Goal #1 accomplished one week no junk food
Goal #2 two weeks no junk food
I can do this !!!
