Well, I woke up this morning and was welcomed by my Aria scale flashing a 249!!! WOOT WOOT.. that's a decade of numbers I haven't seen in sooooo long!! I'm 4lbs from my BLC22 goal with 4 weeks to go.. BUT I LEAVE FOR AFRICA IN 11 DAYS!!!.. I really want to hit that 245lbs on the day I leave for Africa. So, for the next two weeks my eating will not change.. still eating Paleo.. lots of veggies.. 100g of protein.. good fats.. some fruit... I am upping the exercise to 3 days of "two a day" workouts per week emphasizing cardio on the 2nd workout (which I hate, have I mentioned that? LOL) Regardless, i'm going to PUSH myself fully into the UNCOMFORTABLE ZONE so that I can meet my BLC goal before I head out on vacation.. then just aim to maintain while having a ZIP-LINING FANTASTIC TIME in Africa!!
So, this week will look like this:
Monday - CrossFit
Tuesday - Cardio am and swimming pm
Wednesday - CrossFit
Thursday - Cardio am and swimming pm
Friday - CrossFit
Saturday - CrossFit Class and swimming pm
Sunday - Zumba
It's amazing to me how much my life has changed in the last 5 months (since I found the right way for me to be successful in losing weight).. I'm down 77 lbs..and doing things I NEVER EVER thought I'd do.. Some are physical challenges but some are more a challenge to my self confidence... Yesterday my new adventure was participating in a shooting competition.. it was an International Practical Shooting Event Confederation.. this one involved drawing from your holster and - with speed and accuracy - hitting a plethora of metal targets. There were three rounds and I HAD A BLAST (no pun intended).
