Day 1: Time For A Change

It has been way too long since I have blogged on here. Too much has been going on in my life and it's finally settling down. It's time for me to finally focus on me and to do what I need to do to get this weight off of me once and for all.
Now that I have been out of school for about a year now, I have decided to go back in the spring of 2014. I should be done by the following spring of 2015. I am now working on getting my mindset ready so that I can concentrate on finally finishing. I WILL finish and get my degree in health promotion.
Today is a new start for me on my weight loss journey again. I have put a plan in motion and I am going to keep to it as I want to be a success in my own eyes, as that's the only person I wish to impress in the long run. I have set a goal of following my eating and exercise plan as it laid out and no cheating on my food or skipping workouts. In order to be successful, I must take it one meal, workout, and day at a time. I have tendency to worry about tomorrow and get flustered and eventually that leads to me giving up. I am learning to slow down and enjoy the ride.
For the month of August I have set the following goals:
- Do the workouts on each of the planned days
- Eat every meal and snack that is planned each day
- Blog about what is going on at least twice a week
- Record my food daily
I am going to start with these goals and maybe add to them next month. I am going to take it one day at a time so that I will be successful. I am going to reach every one of my goals that I have set for the month, just you watch me.
