I think I've gotten over my rebellion against IP. Maybe the string cheese helped; maybe the friendly numbers on the scale helped; maybe I just needed time. Anyway, I'm chill with it again, at least for now. EVEN THOUGH I'm still technically wearing the same size of pants. (I'm wearing smaller pants than I could wear before, and the pants I had been wearing are starting to feel a little precarious and belt-worthy, but either the new or the old were cut wrong--they're the same size on the tag, same brand, same cut, but they fit different bodies. Maybe the brand redid its sizing.
Anyway, I'm also wearing smaller shirts and cinching my bras tighter, so that's good. It doesn't feel 30-pounds-lost-good, but like I said last time, I started from a different place, this time.)
I finally went in and "fixed" my start weight in SP so it reflects my official IP starting weight. It was annoying, trying to keep track of "pounds down from max," "pounds down from restarting SP," AND "pounds down from starting IP." So I cut out the middle one. I also set the date for reaching my goal weight as early as SP would let me; for the record, they allow 2.5 pounds lost per week and no more. It would be hard to stay on IP that long--but since it would require a serious slow-down for my "goal" graph and "report" graph to intersect, I am hopeful that I won't have to consider that eventuality. That said, I'm not exactly committed to staying with IP long enough to get to that goal weight: for one, I actually have a goal pants size, instead, and for two, I only NEED to be on it while my exercise options are limited. So when(?) my foot is healed, I'll re-evaluate. If I move out of town for three months, clearly I'll transition out of the diet, happy foot or not.
Anyway, things are going. :)
