Goals from Yesterday:
-Do some laundry (Did some... more still to be done)
-Walk in the park (Check!)
-Make a meal plan for the rest of the week (Check..sort of)
-All home-cooked meals and snacks (Check!)
I got my walk in, despite being groggy in the morning. It's good for me to get into the habit of early exercise in the sunshine, so I'm going to try to keep it up.
I've decided to only make a meal plan for the next few days, since we will have company Wed from out of town... so...
Sun: Sirloin burgers (sautéed onion and mushroom, ground sirloin, worcestershire sauce, steak seasoning, salt and pepper)
Sweet potato fries www.savoringtheth
Almond Milk allsortsofpretty.
(I add a calcium/magnesium/D3 supplement to my milk).
Mon: Spinach-Stuffed Meatloaf, Mashed Cauliflower, Salad
Chicken Shawarma www.paleocupboard
Tue: Curried Mango Tuna Cakes, steamed snow peas and bell pepper www.janssushibar.
Notice the prevalence of ground beef! Well, I just got a giant order of 100% grass-fed ground sirloin from Seven Sons Farms and it is to-die-for delicious, and quite lean.
Goals for Tomorrow:
-Another walk in the A.M.
-Go to the store for the rest of the veggies on my grocery list
-Stick to the meal plan, snack on fresh fruits and vegetables and Avocado spread, or protein powder and almond milk.
-Clean at least one thing in the apartment
