New scale :)

Sunday, August 04, 2013

Last night I went to a friends for dinner and I was really nervous cause I had no idea what she would serve and hoped it wouldn't be too many unhealthy finger foods. To my delight she is also very much getting healthy and happily shared some of her special dinner with me.

While I was there, I mentioned that my 30 day reward was going to be a Fitbit scale. She proceeded to show me her new scale - which was awesome and a third of the price of the Fitbit! So tonight I went and bought myself the same scale. Very excited to get accurate numbers instead of trying to guess what it says! I know its a bit early for my 30 day reward, but I'm feeling very motivated lately.

The only thing this scale doesn't do is connect to SP, but I think I can handle manually entering the info :)

Eating anywhere but at home is super scary! I'm glad your friend was supportive.

I LOVE my digital scale. (Also got it at Walmart!) It's really nice not to have to guess as that needle bobs around. I loved it so much that I bought a digital food scale too! It really has made things boatloads easier.

I got the scale at Walmart.. its by a brand called Home Trends (hadn't heard of it before) and its called a Super Slim Fat/Hydration Digital Scale. Its 1.7cm think and made of glass - really sleek looking. The best part, it was only $25! The Fitbit scale was $130.

Please share. What kind of scale did you get? Thinking about getting a new scale myself.
