Hope everyone is having a great weekend..............
Yeaaaa! Hubby arrived home yesterday. It had been two weeks. He carried in his laundry like a kid coming home from college. We made planes to go to town...
I needed to pick up my prescriptions that they did not have last Thursday....we needed dog food that we buy by the 50# bag. He needed a haircut. (badly)
on the way to town he said," While we are in town we will just eat out."
"We'll eat at Thai Lanna and you can get your salad."
I am not sure how much sodium it has.....but ok.
So we ate my salad at Thai Lanna and then went to WalMart and bought our dog food and Hubby got a hair cut. I pushed the 150 # of dog food and stuff.....around Walmart while he got the hair cut. On the way home we stopped at Mc D's for a ice cream cone. We put things away and rested a while before Hubby went to bed. I could not sleep ...felt all achy and dry mouthed all evening. I kept drinking water but I had not taken my water bottle with me and I was dehydrated and felt bloated. Finally got to sleep in the wee hours of the morning.
Felt some better today. Fried a green tomato for breakfast and made egg muffins. I found the recipe on Facebook. Simple just spray muffin tins, put bits of veggies in (I used broccoli) then a meat (I used ham) bits and pour in egg or egg beaters. Cover with Cheese (I used grated Fat Free Cheddar) You then bake in a hot oven for like twenty minutes....let cool and remove from the tin. I had 2 pieces of green tomato and one muffin. It was a good breakfast as far as calories but sodium in the tomato and the ham not so good right now.
It is good to have Hubby home even if he is busy doing outside chores and I am doing laundry inside. Tomorrow he will go back to work. I will get back on track with my sodium free diet.. (really no such thing as sodium free- just really low)
