House picture

Sunday, August 04, 2013

I don't have many pictures of our new house in philadelphia. Bala Cynwyd to be exact. There are some on my husbands phone. Still I've been asked if I have a picture so here it is . I think it looks larger than it is. It was built in1920 and is only one room deep. Also a lot of what you see is the enclosed porch / 3 season room . With our kids growing up it should be a good size for us.

I found this blog looking to see what part of the country you are getting all that snow! Lovely dwelling. Do have many happy, healthy years here. Love the new pup too! I so enjoy having a canine running buddy. I cannot take her out when it is really hot, or really cold, but Daisy is a real trooper to have around.

Looks great, I lived in Berwyn, PA for 20 years. I love how alot of the towns in PA have Indian names. You'll be able to pronounce the Schukykill River in no time. The DuPont estates are great places to visit if you have the time - Longwood Gardens, Hagley Museum, etc.

Wow, I didn't realize you'd move. I am hoping to take the St. Louis Rowing Clubs winter lessons and then really learn to row next summer. I'm so sorry I won't be able to meet you at the club. Best of luck in Philadelphia!

Looks really nice. None of my business, but trimming down that large tree would really show the house off more. I love it.
My house was covered by bushes, and after 26 years here, I finally pruned them way down. Now, I love the way it looks from the street. So, you can see why trimming is on my mind.

What's not to love about an enclosed porch? Really like the architecture of old houses--hope you enjoy your new place!
