Kitchen Reno Week 4-Precious little progress

Sunday, August 04, 2013

Only 7 hours of work done the entire week last week. All they did was paint some walls.

Four weeks without a kitchen, and I'm ready for some serious progress this week. My patience is being tested.

I am keeping my own little challenge going: I still haven't eaten out or gotten take out.

The colour looks like pink to my eyes, am I in the ballpark? I thought I was impatient a month ago when my kitchen was out of commission for 4 days because of the tile floor being put down. I was never so happy to rid myself of cheap ass carpet though. I still have tile to do in the powder room but that's a fast job hopefully. That gets done after the landscaping of the backyard. Hopefully your kitchen will be completed soon. I never saw Steve Allen or Jack Parr I'm not old enough lol. Have a lovely Thursday~ emoticon

I can't imagine going that long without a kitchen! More kudos to you for not eating out or doing take out! Are you cooking on a hot plate?

I also really like the color. I would be getting impatient also, but they may make-up for it this week.

Wow, that's impressive that you are managing to eat at home without a kitchen! I love the color too -- it kind of matches your Sparkpage color!

You know those subcontractors -- they always have a bunch of jobs going at the same time...
