day 4 of recovery

i am taking it easy today. the only exercise that i was given the okay for was walking, so that is what i am sticking to. sometimes i just walk up and down the hall in my place for some exercise. walking regularly is encouraged. it just takes me a lot longer to get somewhere,that is all. i am definitely not overdoing anything. my daughter had a great dental checkup at the end of july and she doesn't have to go back to the dentist until february of next year. i keep healthy snacks around and so do her grandparents, at their place. she's not a big sweets eater and she doesn't like pop, so i don't have to worry that she is having too much of it. i am glad that she doesn't like it. i don't like it,either, to be honest. my birds say hello,hello to everyone. i did get some homework done yesterday. i will get some more done today. i am actually ahead in my computer course. so i will continue to complete the remaining homework in that course, so when i have the next class, i can just do review for the final test the same week. only two weeks left where i have some classes and my final tests. then i am done until september. plenty of time to fully recover. have a wonderful day,everyone!

    Hope you feel best. I am only doing walking this week because I hurt my back and hip and it is so hard breaking the routine and worrying about not losing but gaining, but we have to keep ourselves healthy!

    I feel positive and encouraged by reading your take on your life. Keep on cultivating the good! And bless you for not raising your daughter on sweets and pop. That is SO BAD for children, it tweaks the trajectory of their entire lives. What a huge gift you are giving her!

    Great job! I'm glad you are recovering well. Just continue to take it easy. It's good that your daughter likes healthy snacks and doesn't like pop. It's easier to stop bad habits before they start.

    You're a good mom not keeping sweets and pop around. My mom raised us on pop. I've worked very hard to cut back on the pop over the years. I still like it but now I cannot drink a full can of pop.
