Well I closed out the week strong! I did some strength training and even a little bit of cardio today and I'm sure that I'll be feeling it tomorrow. I will be taking tomorrow off from exercising (I may do a light cardio or aerobic video) and then come Monday I'll be adding in my new running training to my strength training.
I was originally going to break up the days, but after doing some research it looks like I should be okay with doing both in the same day as long as I pay attention and make sure that I provide my body with enough rest. I'm really excited to start the running portion and I am hopeful that I'll be able to run a 5k after I have completed the 8 week program. OH! I almost forgot to mention that I'll also be starting my "scaling back" of my cigarettes starting on this Monday as well so it certainly looks like I have a lot of challenges set out before me, but that only means I have more ways in which I can succeed!
