Well, it's weigh-in day and for me, a real mirror of my week. I was coming off of camp and flu at the beginning of the challenge, which put me at the low end of my weight. Then, this week I ended up ripping the muscle in my arm and had to take it easy and obviously along with that, TOO easy, so my weight is really lousy this first weigh-in! I know, excuses, excuses. All I can really do is apologize to my teammates and try to do better this week. I really want to look better for my daughter's wedding. This week's goal is to track your food, something I really appreciate about SP!!! It helps me see, even though I don't always want to, where I chose wrongly and can do better. I know I've got to increase my veggies, not my fruits. But I refuse to drink them or grind them up in food, I think I'll find some way, though. I hope for a good week, one day at a time. Hope yours are all as good or better!!!!

    I was sorry to read about your arm injury and I pray that you'll make a fast recovery. As I read your blog, however, I also thought about something I'd like to share with you. Sometimes when we are moving too fast or not paying attention to things that need our attention, the universe or God or something we can't explain has a way of slowing us down. Your arm injury could be an example of that. For whatever reason, maybe you just "need" this time in your life to slow down a bit. Maybe your attention is needed somewhere you haven't been looking lately. Pay attention to your body. . . it will tell you what it needs. Take good care. I wish you an awesome new week! emoticon

    Wow, Lori! Hope this next week is better. Walking should not bother your arm. Just an idea. Do be careful.

    I hope your arm feels better soon. I have a torn rotator cuff so I know how painful that is at times. Just hang in there and: emoticon emoticon

    Hope your arm muscle heals well. Ouch!

Could you put veggies in soup?
I know you will figure out a way.

I've lost some weight, and I think it is mostly do
to restricting oil, margarine, butter etc. I don't
do heavy exercise ever yet.

Next week can be better. A whole new week
with good choices to make.
You can do this!

    Oh Lori, it sounds like you had an awful week. I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better! I didn't have a great week this week either, but we can both have an awesome week next week!
