Why are you talking to yourself in the third person, Dragonchilde?
Well, you often talk to the other people here a lot. You don't talk to yourself much. Your Sparkcoach challenge for today is to give yourself a pep talk. And well, Sparkguy is right! You don't cheer yourself on often enough. You spend a lot of time on this website, encouraging others, teaching others, but you don't spend that time on you.
So today, you're going to do just that. And why should you keep it to yourself?
Dragonchilde, you're amazing. You're a mom of two small children, a disabled husband, who works from home and is poor as dirt. Yet, somehow you always keep the bills paid, and usually have some money left over for pizza. You are losing weight, slowly, but surely. You know what to do. You have a lot of knowledge, and you like to share it.
But more importantly, you are learning to take care of yourself. Through the techniques you're learning through Al Anon, you're learning that YOU are just as important as anyone else, and it's important to set an example for your children.
You're a good mom, teaching your girls about healthy living, exercise, and making the right choices.
You look pretty darned good in a pair of shorts, which you wore today without a bit of self consciousness. Your legs may be snow-white, but they look *good*! You are trying to set a good example for your children AND your husband, and it's starting to pay off.
Keep up the good work. You deserve a treat! So go get one. I bet you could use some new shorts!
(And you, reading this? Write a pep talk to yourself in YOUR blog! I dare you!)
