Day 124 - Definitely a Plateau Again....! Sigh

It's been almost two weeks since I lost any weight. My lowest weigh-in is 186.6, and that was the day I was released from the hospital. For almost two weeks, I have been fluctuating from 187 to 188.5. This is so frustrating!

Today, I used my inhaler and set out to walk / pathetically jog my miles. I could barely jog my first 1/8th mile. It was somewhat humid outside. I walked a half mile and attempted it again. I guess I am just not cut out for long distance jogging. This upsets me somewhat because I can burn more calories much quicker with the hopes of losing weight faster.

But, I try to tell myself that I am not in a race to lose weight....this is a lifestyle change and I should anticipate that it will take me over a year to lose the remaining 60 pounds I want to shed. I should embrace each new, minute weight loss regardless if it is only a 2/10th of a pound every several days.

I hope this plateau ends soon and I can see results once again!

    emoticon darn I know it's hard. But don't let this plateau get the best of you. It's not just about the numbers on the scale. How do you feel, are your clothes fitting differently, do you have more energy? I but you said yes to these answers so see it is working. Don't let that emoticon get you down. emoticon

    It is hard to hang in there when the plateau hits! But as you know, it is a journey, not a sprint. So enjoy the journey and we will eventually get there! Hugs!
