Okay, second workout of LM Pump done. For the first workout I ignored the calendar and did Pump and Burn instead but I got my butt handed to me so I decided to listen and do the suggested Pump Challenge instead
Much more "doable" workout. I guess it's taking my mind a minute to accept that my muscles are not nearly as strong as they used to be. No worries though. Sometimes it's refreshing to be a beginner.
I'm doing sort of a hybrid with Les Mills Combat and/or Turbo Fire depending on how energetic I feel on my cardio days
I have to say that the low weight/high rep format of Pump is deceptively difficult. Upon visual review it looks sort of easy (hence my jump to Pump and Burn) but when you actually do the workout, NOT.
I actually get nauseous fairly quickly while doing them which is only an effect I've experience while doing long and heavy strength workouts. It will be interesting to see what sort of result I get from the difference.
