So lately, I have been reading a lot about the health benefits of flaxseeds, quinoa, and lemon water. I am completely surprised with what I found! I'm sharing three links so you can read about all three.
Today I bought some flaxseeds at Wegmans. I have an herb grinder, so I'll be grinding some up later tonight. I have been looking up some recipes for them and can't wait to incorporate them into my diet.
I've had quinoa before; I had no clue I was eating it. My boyfriend's brother brought a tasty dish over one Sunday and it had quinoa and all sorts of fresh veggies. It was a cold dish and if I find out what exactly was in it, I'll blog that as well!
As for lemon water, well, I've been drinking that for some time now. I love plain water, so it took a while to get used to the lemon flavor. I do love it now, though. I have a juicer, so I have been juicing about five lemons a week and that usually lasts me. I store the lemon juice in the fridge till I'm ready or I'll fill up a pitcher of lemon water for the week. It's so tasty!
